In 2022 i suffered a slipped disc in my neck and trapped nerves, it took 2 years of treatment before I even thought about exercise. I started with Luke at Inspired Fitness in Feb 2024, totally scared of doing more damage and with no muscle tone left in my arms whatsoever. Right from the start I felt that I could trust Luke with building me up slowly and giving me confidence that I could get stronger. I can't believe that in 2 years I've gone from not being able to lift 1kg weights to being able to deadline 60kg plus and chest press 40kg plus. My overall fitness has gone from strength to strength. There are a number of sessions, you can join a small group session. I highly recommend Boxing, hard work, cardio and a great laugh 😃. A joint PT session, a fab way to get fit with a friend or a private session. I do all 3 and honestly can say that it makes you feel so much better. I would highly recommend Luke, he really caters for all shapes, sizes and fitness levels.

I contacted Luke because I wanted to improve my strength and general fitness, but I was nervous about starting personal training and attending classes, especially as I’ve never enjoyed traditional gym environments. From day one, Luke made me feel welcome, supported, and completely at ease.
The results have exceeded my expectations. Not only have I gained significant strength and muscle, but I’ve also noticed a real improvement in my mental wellbeing. Luke is incredibly knowledgeable and has been especially supportive in helping me manage a sore back, always ensuring exercises are appropriate and effective.
His classes are thoughtfully planned and tailored to individual abilities and goals, creating an inclusive and motivating environment. Luke has a great ability to encourage and challenge me to achieve far more than I ever thought possible.
I cannot recommend Inspired Fitness highly enough. If you're looking for a supportive, knowledgeable trainer who genuinely cares about helping you reach your goals, Luke is exceptional.

I'd always been a member of big commercial gyms so not sure what to expect.
What a refreshing change!!!
Personal training even in classes! The classes are small so that means you get attention that you don't in a big gym.
I do a p/t session with Luke, he is really knowledgeable, he advises on nutrition, any injuries we have and life in general !!! It's like
We have therapy sessions there too !
I can honestly say our gym group is a little family and we all actually enjoy going to the gym!!! ( is that a thing??)
Inspired Fitness has become part of my life, I really couldn't be without it now.

For someone who has always struggled with motivation to do self training and push myself in the gym its been so great over the last few years having these classes and PT sessions to give me the sociable aspect i need alongside the great workouts. Luke not only provides fitness, laughs and friendship but also top notch therapy 🤣
He has such a deep rooted understanding of nutrition, fitness and how the body works but what separates luke from the rest is his caring nature and connection to his clients on a more personal level, whether youre feeling happy and having a good week or struggling and not feeling great and that is what makes him such a great trainer.

I have being training with Luke since 2021. Over the past 5 years my requirements of training have changed from wanting to lose weight and get stronger, to wedding ready, training whilst pregnant and post pregnancy. Luke has adapted my training at every step of the way to fit what is happening in my life. Before I trained with Luke I would never have thought of wearing a pair of boxing gloves or touching the weights I have been able to do! Luke also listens to my rants and moans of the week. I couldn’t recommend Luke highly enough.

I've been training with Luke for 3 years now and I've come out of every session feeling re-energised. I was first interested when I found out he uses boxing as a training method as it's always been a passion of mine and with his experience he is able to constantly teach me new skills and techniques to help keep the sessions fresh and engaging.
I also do weight and circuit sessions with him and no matter what type of workout I always feel like I've been pushed just enough to help achieve my goals.

Luke has been transformative for me. Just over a year ago, I turned up to his PT class feeling demotivated and frustrated. I have MS and was going through the menopause and training was becoming problematic with injuries and pain. Straight away he took time to fully understand me, my goals and my challenges and researched into MS and the best way to train someone with my condition. What has followed has enriched my life. Luke changes the training every session so I don’t get bored and he educates about me about women’s health. His is patient, knowledgeable, passionate about what he does and is an amazing PT. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I wanted to share my experience from the past two years of personal training with Luke, as the outcome has transformed my overall wellbeing, strength and reignited my enjoyment of exercise. When I first started, my upper body strength was quite minimal, and I struggled with joint issues in my neck. Thanks to consistent training, my strength has dramatically improved, and those joint problems have significantly reduced, which has made a world of difference in my daily life and overall wellbeing.
Luke has been a fantastic trainer throughout this journey. He is personable, friendly, and always informative, creating an environment where you feel comfortable and supported. He has opened my eyes to exercises I’d never tried previously such as boxing and weights – providing great variety to improve overall body fitness whilst maintaining interest and enjoyment.
Luke’s guidance goes beyond workouts; he offers practical advice on diet and helpful medical insights tailored to individual needs. His approach puts you at ease, making every session enjoyable and motivating. I don’t know how one person can retain so much information and knowledge on so many different topics! Luke also willingly adapts training requirements to suit personal needs, such as when I underwent an operation on my foot, he encouraged me to keep up exercise focusing on other body parts without putting any risk on areas that required time to recover.
I’m extremely grateful for the progress I’ve made and the positive changes I’ve experienced thanks to Luke’s expertise and encouragement. If you’re considering personal training, I can’t recommend Luke highly enough.
